Bulletstorm guns/multiplayer explained
Wanna' fry dudes with a four barrel shotgun? Or maybe you'd rather bowl them over with a portable... cannonball launcher.
Your sick, sadistic wishes are Bulletstorm's command.
A new video has popped up on the internet detailing some of the guns at your disposal in this upcoming first person shooter. Like, split dudes in half, clear the mall out, "oh sh*t, that was crazy!" guns.
Also detailed: the game's multiplayer features, which include a team-based "horde mode" and co-op play. The co-op portion lets you and some friends play the game together and compete for a high score.
High scores, of course, are attained by coming up with inventive kills. Shoot a guy in the chest? 50 Points. Grab a guy with your laser whip, throw him against a steel beam, toss him back up in the air along with an explosive barrel, shoot him, then finish him off by targeting the barrel? A lot of points.
What's obviously missing is any sort of team deathmatch play. Granted, while not necessary, the lack of TDM may scare away gamers looking for the biggest bang for their buck.
Time will tell if the omission will have any negative impact on sales.
Bulletstorm kicks you in the face, then blows you up in mid-air on February 22nd.
